What Is CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a high-intensity conditioning program built around varied, functional movement. It doesn't stick to a single formula — a different workout every day, with a version scaled to every level.

The Three Modalities

The Three Modalities

CrossFit focuses on three core modalities: gymnastics (bodyweight movement), weightlifting (Olympic lifts) and metabolic conditioning (running, rowing, biking, jump rope). Training combines these three constantly. One day heavy deadlifts, the next day max-calorie bike, the next day muscle-ups and handstand walks. Your body never gets to settle into the same pattern.

Constantly Varied Training

Repeating the same program lets the body adapt and progress stalls. That's why CrossFit's definition is 'constantly varied, functional, high intensity'. A different WOD every day, a different focus every week. Your body keeps responding to new stimuli — and that comes back to you as strength, endurance and conditioning.

WOD: Workout of the Day

WOD: Workout of the Day

WOD stands for 'Workout of the Day'. Each class follows a coach-led arc: warm-up, skill work, main workout, cool-down. The whole session runs about 60 minutes. A WOD might be 4 minutes (Tabata), 20 minutes (AMRAP), 15 minutes of core work — or a single 45-minute Hero workout. With warm-up and cool-down, sessions wrap inside an hour. Trust us: for a high-intensity program, an hour is plenty.

SCALING: A Class for Everyone

SCALING: A Class for Everyone

Every movement has a standard version and an easier one. Can't do a pull-up? You do ring rows. Handstand walk too hard? Pike push-ups. 100 kg deadlift too heavy? Start with 40 kg. That's how a total beginner and a seasoned athlete can train side by side in the same class. CrossFit's core philosophy: deliver the feel of an intense workout to every level of athlete.
